What is Author Hour?
Author Hour is a live, one-hour virtual session with one of our published playwrights. The format is flexible:
- Interactive Q&A — Students can ask questions about the play, the writing process, or the themes they’re exploring in rehearsal.
- Behind-the-Scenes Insights — Playwrights share stories, research, and creative decisions that shaped the script.
- Creative Inspiration — Hear about the playwright’s career journey, writing tips, and advice for young theatre artists.
