We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: Mitch Emoff has joined Gitelman & Good Publishers as our new Production Director.
Mitch brings with him a unique blend of creative talent, business leadership, and production expertise that perfectly aligns with GGP’s mission to bring only the good stuff to high school theatre.
A Career Rooted in Creativity and Strategy
Mitch is a playwright, producer, and business leader based in Western North Carolina. A graduate of the UCLA Professional Writing Program, he wrote and produced Father, Son & Holy Moses!, a feature film that won the Audience Choice Award at the International Christian Film Festival and is currently in distribution with Bridgestone Multimedia.
Beyond his work on stage and screen, Mitch spent over 30 years building and running a marketing firm with annual revenues of $25 million. His leadership experience—directing teams, developing campaigns, and helping businesses grow—now informs his approach to theatre. At GGP, he’ll bring that same mix of strategic vision and creative insight to shepherd our productions and publishing projects to the next level.
A Dedicated Playwright and Collaborator
Since 2019, Mitch has focused his energy on theatre, writing more than ten award-winning scripts and collaborating with companies across the country. Two of his plays will soon join the GGP catalog: Reconstitution (Nov 2025) and Chickens (Summer 2026). His plays are known for tackling universal themes with humor, using comedy to bring levity and connection to even the most serious topics.

As Production Director, Mitch will guide the creative and logistical processes behind our publishing work—ensuring that every play we release is not only stage-ready but also deeply aligned with our vision of theatre for students. His background as both an artist and a business leader makes him an invaluable addition to our growing team.
