Pete Simon is a fast-talking, money-obsessed music agent whose only client is his Christian-pop star wife, Meri. While Meri sings the Lord’s praises, Pete only cares about selling "swag," cutting corners, and making a buck off the faithful. But after a bitter argument with his mother-in-law and a freak accident behind the concert stage, Pete finds himself mysteriously transported back to ancient Judea.
Recognized by his still-adorned name badge as "Simon, Peter", Pete gets thrust directly into the inner circle of Yeshua (Jesus). Applying modern talent-agent hustle and multi-level marketing to worm his way to the top of the disciple food chain, Pete tries to "manage" Yeshua's career—all while clashing with Judas, dodging Pharisees, and trying to win back the heart of Meri, who appears in this biblical world with no memory of their marriage. Fast-paced, witty, and surprisingly touching, Pete Simon, Agent of God is a genuine story of redemption but only after undergoing a revelation of biblical proportion.
