Lulu James

Lulu James is a playwright, actor, and choreographer born and raised in South Jersey. Growing up she loved to create fictional worlds with her friends and escape in them, pretending to rule fictional kingdoms in the long grass of her backyard. Her love of storytelling is what lead her to pursue a career in acting, and in high school she studied Uta Hagen and Stanislavski. While in school she often struggled to find material, she could relate to when it came to characters in her age range. This is one of the main things that inspired her to write. After high school she spent four years eating pierogies and becoming a better performer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she really learned playwriting under the instruction of D.T. Burns. Now with a recently acquired B.F.A. she's ready to start a new phase of her life and keep growing as an artist and playwright.
